The Jayne and Donna Breast Cancer Fund, Inc. is a group of normal every day people who share one thing in common. We have all lost a friend or loved one to breast cancer. All board members are volunteers and we take no compensation for our hard work and efforts. Our organization is not like most other organizations you’ll encounter associated with breast cancer. Although we believe that research is extremely important in finding a cure for breast cancer, our focus is on support of breast cancer victims and their families. Unfortunately, breast cancer research, or any cancer research does not have direct contact with people suffering from this disease.
The Jayne and Donna Breast Cancer Fund, Inc. believes that grass roots, hands on, street level support for the victims of breast cancer and their families is what’s most important. These men and women need help now! They need counseling, communication, understanding, and most of all, hope! They need activities to help take the focus off of themselves and the unknown future they face. They need cooking classes, dance lessons, good books to read, and the list goes on. Perhaps they would like to locate a long lost family member or a friend from their past and aren’t sure where to start. Maybe they’ve never traveled and would just once like to see the mountains.
The Jayne and Donna Breast Cancer Fund, Inc. is a fund raising organization that searches out breast cancer victims in an effort to provide financial help and support services to those with an uncertain future.

Jayne Sobaski
Jayne was born July 20, 1921 to Julia and Joseph Mateja of Chicago. Jayne was the younger sister to Evelyn and Raymond.

Donna Marie DeAngelis
Born in Brooklyn, NY on December 6, 1963, Donna was the oldest of three children. In December 2001 she was diagnosed with stage four metastatic breast cancer.
